Biography
Kaihong Su is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, College of medicine at University of Nebraska. Her research focuses on basic and translational research on autoimmune diseases. The ultimate goal is to understand the disease pathogenesis and identify novel biomarkers and pathways that can be developed into diagnostic/therapeutic tools for these diseases. She has completed her B.S., Nankai University (Microbiology), P. R. China, 1990 & M.S., from Nankai University (Microbiology), P. R. China in 1993. Ph.D., from University of Alabama at Birmingham (Cell Biology), Alabama, in 1998 & Post-doctoral training (Immunology) from University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama from 1998-2002
